Tour de Suisse
The annual hold Tour de Suisse is the biggest and logistically the most challenging sports event in Switzerland. The tour is part of the UCI WorldTour which unites all major cycle races. The Tour de Suisse offers a prologue stage, several mountain stages and a time trial stage. Lots of athletes profit from the Tour de Suisse as a final preparation for the Tour de France, which takes place two to three weeks later. The tour is traced by hundred thousands of spectators along the track and followed by millions of people on television.
